On behalf of the BDS Wales Show Committee, I am very proud to announce the launch of the Derrick Whiting BDS Wales National Championships. The BDS Wales Show will be hosting these brand new Championships, which will see the creation of four new Champions in Wales; BDS Wales National Private Driving Champion, BDS Wales National Welsh Private Driving Champion, BDS Wales National Exercise Vehicle Champion and the BDS Wales National Welsh Exercise Vehicle Champion. Qualification will be open to any BDS member from a show hosting the qualifiers which initially will only be BDS area and agricultural shows in Wales. There will be two qualifiers for each type category at each show, one of which will be awarded to the class winner and one to the highest placed BDS member resident in Wales.

A list of the shows which will be hosting the qualifiers will be posted on the website shortly, so that everyone can plan to get to a show with them. I look forward to welcoming everyone who qualifies to the Championships at the BDS Wales Show on August 13th 2017.
