We are pleased to announce a full day clinic for our members with Minta Winn to be held in the Indoor Arena at Coleg Sir Gar, Pibwrlwyd Campus, Carmarthen (SA31 3HY) on Saturday June 13th giving the opportunity for some UK level professional instruction.

Minta is one of the foremost equestrians in the Driving World, specialising in the disciplines of Carriage Driving and FEI driving. She is a leading Trainer and instructor as well as being president of the Tandem Club of Great Britain. She has numerous accolades / achievements including the coveted Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) and UK and International Driving Trials. She is a respected Carriage Driving Judge in both the UK and in the United States of America.

To have the chance to learn from her in our own locality is an offer not to be missed and see close up what a difference it makes when a truly experienced Driver take the reins and have techniques explained is invaluable.

Morning and afternoon Sessions include advanced long reining – what, why and how to achieve positive benefits for you and your equine together with tips for achieving the optimum performance from a driven pony.

As part of the demonstration an exceptional schooling experience is offered providing the opportunity for up to six members, to bring their own pony / horse to be worked by Minta in the Arena with the owners as grooms.

As these places are limited they will be reserved by lottery – please put your name forward in a PM to Toby, together with brief details of you equine, its experience together with your expectations.

Members equines must be reasonably fit,nicely presented and ideally, used to being driven in company and in an arena which will have Public Announcement system with announcements, commentary, conversation and background music.

A Risk Assessment will be available.

Tickets are £20.00 per person with no charge for children under 14 and are available in advance thro’ BACS. Payment on the day will not be available. Please confirm your interest early as places will be limited. If there is a surplus above costs, we will be pleased to offer a partial refund.

Of course, Tea, coffee, Squash, biscuits & Clonc will be available. Should you be willing, please bring a plate for Lunch.
