BDS Wales is sorry to announce that we will be losing Ann Ham as the AC for M.E. Wales when her term ends in August. Ann has served the area for many years, running many successful events including the annual area show and trecs. She has set the bar for us many times especially in the area of ROW by gaining no less than five separate permissions to run the Trec Championship in 2015, by supporting drivers in her area and her involvement both with Young drivers in her area and throughout Wales via the Young Drivers Camp. I will especially miss her input to the BDS Wales Committee and the voice that she brings to proceedings. Good luck Ann and Hammy with the move.

This now creates a vacancy on the BDS Wales Committee for the AC for M. E. Wales. Currently in post there is a fantastic support team who no doubt could be persuaded to stay on and support a new AC. Please can anyone in the area interested in taking on this thoroughly rewarding role please contact Anthea Birch or Michelle Peters in the first instance. We can have a chat about the level of commitment needed and the experience that you could bring to the team. There is also the opportunity to shadow Ann in her remaining engagements to thoroughly immerse our prospective new AC.
